The computer systems we build are based upon quality components. Quality components cost more, but not a lot more. Needless to say, computer issues are a source of major frustration, expense and wasted time. How much is your time worth? No computer is "bullet proof", but steps can be taken to greatly improve their reliability and ease disaster recovery in case there ever is one. More appropriately, WHEN there is one. Lightning, fire and water are a computer's worst enemies. Cloud storage backup solutions are appropriate in many cases, but not appropriate for those companies producing high definition video. Programs like Acronis True Image can be a lifesaver when it comes to quickly restoring your computer's system drive. I have done a complete system drive restore in 10 minutes using Acronis True Image. It sure beats re-installing Windows and all of the programs. At Level Ten Studios, we only build systems with a minimum of two internal hard drives. People should get into the habit of using their system "C" drive only for the operating system and installed programs. Nearly everything else should go on another internal drive. If the data is sensitive or irreplaceable, I suggest using enterprise class drives or SSDs set up in at least a Raid 1 along with Cloud data storage. Please contact us with any computer related questions. We are here to help you with nearly all of your computer related needs.
Level Ten Studios continues the theme of "keep it simple" related to the custom computer systems we build. We offer the highest quality and price appropriate computer components available for your specific needs. Many other builders hide their build fee in component pricing. For example, they may charge $150 for that Seagate hard drive that's available at newegg.com or Fry's Electronics for $70. All of this component overpricing adds up to their build fee. At Level Ten Studios we supply your computer components for your particular build at the lowest possible price and charge you a straight forward build fee. We just see that as the most honest way of doing business. We only use computer components from reputable companies with stellar user ratings. For example, we use select Cooler Master cases, Gigabyte Ultra Durable 3 motherboards, RAM from Crucial, power supplies from Corsair, video cards from either Nvidia or ATI, processors from Intel, DVD and Blu-ray player/burners from Pioneer, hard drives from Western Digital or Seagate, and hot-swappable internal cages from Kingwin.
Just to give you an example of how we save you money, the other day, I looked at a major computer builder's "workstation" offerings. These were offered as being appropriate for graphics work as well as video production. The problem with that is, their workstation offerings come with Nvidia Quadro video cards. These cards are priced as high as $3000 and don't earn their keep in a computer used for video editing. The GTX 470 is a much better choice for video editing and is currently priced at about $349.
We service a relatively small market in the Greater Atlanta, Georgia area. We personally deliver the systems we build and will help get you up and running at either your home or office.
